The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. About the Role
Loads, unloads, and/or moves materials within or near plant, or work site by performing the following duties.
Pay rate starts at $22.37 and increases annually on work anniversary (Base pay $21.37 + $1 for 2nd shift)
Hours are Monday-Friday, 3pm-11pm with possible OT when needing to cover call in or vacation for other material handlers
Your Responsibilities
- Loads, unloads, and/or moves materials within or near plant, or work site by performing the following duties
- Hilo trained, and will obey plant and federal hilo/tugger laws.
- Able to obtain a powered industrial truck license.
- Must be aware of environment when driving hilo/tugger. EX: water on floor, pedestrians walking in aisleways.
- Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. Opens containers.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from trucks, pallets, racks, and shelves by hand, with hilo/tugger or latter.
- Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
- Counts, scans, weighs and records number of units of materials moved or handled.
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on containers.
- Verifies all labels and tags.
- Participates in problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
- Completes operator check sheets on hilo/tugger and keeps hilo/tugger clean.
- Performs housekeeping activities.
- Perform all duties assigned by the Manager/Supervisor.
Who we are looking for
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Industrial shipping/warehouse experience preferred.

- Ability to read and interpret a variety of written procedures, part numbers, part descriptions and operation instruction sheets.
- Able to write routine production reports, tags and labels.
