Specific Responsibilities
The Accountant II, for Apache Corporation will be a member of Apache’s Marketing Accounting team, reporting to the Marketing Accounting Manager. This role will be primarily responsible for the following:

Perform marketing accounting functions related to Apache domestic oil and gas properties.

Actualizing oil, gas, and ngl volumes marketed by Apache in Endur for integration of pricing and deduct data to the revenue department.

Perform Settlements functions including invoicing, interface with counterparties, and ensure timely payment to Apache for gas, oil and ngl sales.

Responsible for payment of transportation invoices, Accounts Receivable and other balance Sheet Reconciliations.

Will interface with multiple groups and individuals, both internal and external to Apache Corporation.
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and experience:

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Accounting; other field of study may be considered when combined with a minimum of 12 completed accounting hours.

2+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Oil & Gas Marketing Accounting experience a plus.

Knowledge and experience with Endur a plus.

Outstanding communication, interpersonal, management, administrative, organizational, and leadership skills.

Experience implementing sound decisions when faced with multi-faceted problems.
