Business Development Executive

36.5 Hour week (Hybrid) - Flexible

Field based role covering Mid Ulster

Henderson Food Service is the leading supplier to the food service industry in Ireland. We source and supply a range of thousands of products to customers including hotels, restaurants, and public sector organisations such as hospitals and offices. We are passionate about food, quality and excellent customer service.

 

Following another year of record growth, our Business Development Executive team continue to set and exceed achievable targets.

 

This role will be very well suited to a candidate who is self-motivated, ambitious and who thrives on winning new business. You will have a positive, winning mindset and enjoy hitting targets. As Business Development Executive, you will: 

  • Strategically grow our share of major accounts as a first-choice partner in food service within the Northern Ireland marketplace
  • Design and implement business plans to maximise sales through building and maintaining sound customer relationships
  • Create, develop and implement effective sales strategies, driving prospecting, lead generation and conversion of new business
  • Manage a wide range of customer accounts
  • Target, identify and win new business within your territory

 

Skills for Success

 

Joining us as Business Development Executive the minimum criteria you’ll need is: 

  • A minimum of one years' experience of winning and managing new accounts and developing and driving strategic sales plans to achieve budgets and targets.
  • Proven ability to develop strong relationships with key decision makers
  • Proven commercial ability and acumen with strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications
  •  A full UK/EU driving licence

This is a full-time position working 36.5 hours per week. Working hours will be 8:45am-4:45pm Monday to Thursday and 8:45am-3:45pm Friday. Hybrid working arrangement available.
