Engineering Reliability Manager at Warburtons

Job Descrption

Salary: up to £60,000 dependant on experience
Shift Pattern: Week 1: (6 days) Monday to Saturday, Week 2: (4 days) Tuesday to Friday (degree of flexibility with this working pattern)
Hours of Work: Week 1: 6am – 3pm, Week 2: 9am – 6pm

 

Are you an Engineering Reliability Manager, Maintenance Manager or Engineering Team Manager at the top of your game, with experience of working in a manufacturing environment and looking to progress or up for a new challenge?  

 

Due to continued growth and investment, we are looking for an Engineering Reliability Manager to support our Manufacturing operation, supporting our Maintenance programme, shift teams and our Asset Care Lead.

 

Working alongside the Engineering Manager and as part of our Manufacturing management team, you’ll engage and motivate a skilled team of multi-skilled engineering colleagues with a team of approximately 8 direct reports, utilising root cause analysis to identify and prioritise corrective actions alongside the execution of a planned maintenance programme.

Essential Ingredients

 

  • Possess an Engineering Qualification such as HND, HNC, BTECH or equivalent.
  • You’ll have previous experience of managing a team of Engineers across rotating shift operation.
  • Previous experience of working with electrical control systems and automation (Desirable)
  • A strong mechanical background with electrical multi-skilled experience
  • You’ll be able to deploy and execute a reliability centred asset care strategy (Desirable)
  • A working knowledge and understanding of Capex (proposals and project implementation), contract management, supplier negotiation.
  • Passionate about quality and best practice whilst driving continuous improvement.
  • Have experience of COSHH & HACCP, with a working knowledge of H&S audits and processes

The Role

 

  • Safety - Accountable for own and team adherence to relevant safety performance across all activities
  • Leadership – responsible for team training plan, individual development plans and performance reviews 
  • Resource Management – Responsible for ensuring that the day to day operational requirements can be fulfilled through the appropriate provision and allocation of team members
  • Operational Management - Accountable for plant performance uplifts via allocated reactive, corrective and planned maintenance tasks across plant and equipment through the effective management of their team
  • Built on concepts from robust Root Cause Analysis of Top Losses/MI losses data within SAP. Develop site led Asset Care MI/Losses reduction plan by utilising various CI Tools & techniques.
