JOB PURPOSE
In this role, you will primarily manage the supply and demand of the business, with a focus on new product development and timely sample delivery according to seasonal calendars. Operating from the UK manufacturing facility, you will ensure procurement and delivery of raw materials within agreed timescales, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and oversee inventory management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Procuring raw materials and managing suppliers.
Stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth operations.
Negotiating optimal lead times and exploring logistics options.
Sourcing suitable suppliers and obtaining critical product information.
Managing orders, progress updates, and critical path milestones.
Implementing pricing strategies and conducting negotiations.
Overseeing supplier relationship management and ensuring compliance.
Managing risks and escalation procedures.
Providing input on seasonal fashion styles and volume projections.
Coordinating sample orders and status reporting.
Monitoring and optimising inventory levels.
Streamlining buying processes and enhancing reporting efficiency.
Executing strategic directives from the Senior Procurement and Planning Manager.
PERSONAL PROFILE
Proficient in advanced Excel functions, demonstrating the ability to manipulate data.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration.
Strong organisational abilities.
Experienced in SAP software, with a comprehensive understanding of its functionalities.
Fluent in Italian.
Proven track record in procurement.
Skilled multitasker, capable of managing multiple responsibilities.
