If Contract - Duration: 4 Months – Possible to Extend
Contract Daily Rate: $ 800
GFT is looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for managing the global delivery of an impactful financial operation. This requires a cross regional, cross entity deliveries and a lot of co-ordination across various business, finance and operations teams globally.
Responsibilities:
- Works with business partners to understand needs, define cross functional plan and project scope;
- Creates Project plan in line with company’s methodology;
- Reviews plans and milestones with technical and business board and obtains approval for possible changes;
- Manages risk, issues, dependencies;
- Clears path and escalates accordingly;
- Enters and maintains RAG/Schedule date/comments milestones;
- Raises change control requests;
- Supports quality assurance reviews;
- Manages project’s financials;
- Interacts with senior management, coordinating project and its possible escalations;
- Manages delivery objectives ensuring scope accuracy;
- Documents project artifacts;
- Reports metrics to ensure project deliveries are tracked, accurately reported, and met;
- Builds cross regional relationships and works with teams from multiple worldwide locations and timezones;
Requirements:
- +7 years of experience as a Project Manager;
- Vast knowledge and experience with Agile Methodologies;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Visio;
- Strong Knowledge of Fixed Income settlements;
- Strong Knowledge of Sponsored Repo;
- Experience with Regulatory deliveries;
- Experience working with FICC;
- Strong leadership, influencing and problem-solving skills;
- Strong analytic and self-starting skills;
- Strong organization and communication skills;
- Interpersonal skills and ability to manage teams based in different regions across the world;
