Position Specific Description
Employees should have experience with production forecasting, running economics, working with asset teams to optimize asset development, and evaluating well performance and upside potential for asset acquisitions and divestment.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Forecast producing wells using decline curve analysis and monitor current production
• Run economics and sensitivities and be able to identify primary drivers of changes to valuations
• Perform analysis of analog wells and identify key variables to support type curve recommendations
• Clearly communicate and support recommendations
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional team to optimize asset development
• Keep abreast of new technology and leverage to support business solutions
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working for an oil and gas operator
• Familiarity with ComboCurve
Job Overview
This job is responsible for performing analytical engineering functions. Employees in this role are responsible for evaluating the performance of offset wells in new deals, forecasting future production in existing wells, log analysis, supporting various groups in forecasting production and revenue, and other projects as assigned.
