We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to be a part of our integral team at Glencorse Barracks, Penicuik, EH26 0NP

£11.73 per hour
Full time - 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, between 6am – 5pm
No evenings or weekends!

What you'll be doing
Regular visits to buildings across our site to monitor standards of cleanliness, to establish and implement ways to improve and meet standard.
Ensure work rota is up to date and correct hours are allocated to tasks.
Assists with the management of employee attendance and timekeeping.
Completion of time/ attendance records for payment.
Provide training to team in relation to expected standards and quality of general cleaning, and Health and Safety requirements, particularly regarding the operation of equipment, manual handling and COSHH.
Recruitment processes supported by unit management, induct and train new staff.
Produce accurate Health and Safety risk assessments documenting safe systems of work by all cleaning team.
Maintain supplies of cleaning materials and equipment, keeping check of what will be required and placing orders to maintain stock levels and complete stock takes.
Liaise with the Work services department reporting any defects in a timely manner.
Assist positively and quickly in response to customer requests.
Communicate information from employees to unit manager.
Communicate ARAMARK information and or updates to employees.
Experience
Previous cleaning experience.
A confident leader
A customer focused can-do attitude.
Flexible approach
Must be eligible to work in the UK
BPSS and Disclosure Scotland required
