The Role


The Partnerships Manager is responsible for the development, implementation and management of the partnerships. In addition, the Partnerships Manager will add value to the overall brand experience, drive revenue and assist Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Loyalty. This is a highly commercial, target driven role, with the aim of acquiring and developing higher revenue generation partnerships.

 

Principal Accountabilities, Qualifications and Experience


Identify and Develop Strategic Partnerships:

  • Research and identify potential partners, aligned with the Company’s goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to establish strategic partnerships.

Negotiation and Contract Management:

  • Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts that ensure mutual benefit.
  • Work closely with Legal, and other relevant teams, to review and finalise partnership agreements.

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure successful execution of partnerships.
  • Communicate partner needs and expectations internally to ensure alignment.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Develop and implement metrics to track the performance of partnerships.
  • Provide regular reports on the success and impact of partnerships to key stakeholders.

Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution:

  • Address and resolve issues and conflicts which may arise during the course of partnerships.
  • Work proactively to identify and mitigate any potential challenges.

Market Analysis and Opportunity Assessment:

  • Keep informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities.
  • Assess and recommend potential new partnership opportunities based on market analysis.

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field. MBA would be an advantage
  • Ideally a recognised marketing qualification such as, CIM or IDM.
  • 5 years’ experience in an Executive or Product Manager role in a business-to-consumer marketing environment.
  • Experience of identifying and negotiating relevant and added value brand partnerships.
  • 5 years’ experience in Partnership Management or Business Development.
  • Bi-lingual or a high level of English and French, both written and spoken would be a distinct advantage.
