The opportunity
You will join our fantastic team in Belfast, working alongside the existing Director and senior lawyers to in the Corporate (M&A and Structuring) team at EY Law. You will have access to a talented team of Corporate Lawyers, who will mentor and develop your skills and guide you on your exceptional career journey with EY.

Your key responsibilities
• Collaborating with the Partners who serve as Law Account Leaders (LALs) on these accounts, you will have responsibility for driving forward this portfolio via the development and execution of strategic account plans
• Setting out a compelling vision for this portfolio of clients that inspires and brings LAL’s along with you, which ultimately leads to driving revenue & margin growth across the portfolio
• Responsibility for helping to ensure client experience & client satisfaction is exceptional
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have;
• Experience working in Corporate Law (with exposure to M&A)
• Recently-qualified candidates will have experience of drafting and negotiating the legal aspects of M&A transaction documents including share and asset purchase and sale agreements, due diligence and joint ventures
• Good research, technical, drafting and negotiation skills
• A passion to demonstrate teamwork and building relationships
• An innovative mindset (supporting the use of technology to improve service delivery)
