Student Recruitment Attraction Senior Specialist, Supervising Associate

 

Location London or Bristol 

Hybrid working plus up to 40% travel/ on campuses seasonally

The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to join the in-house recruitment team at EY, finding future talent to enable us to grow as a business. You'll join a multi-award-winning team responsible for engaging, sourcing, and attracting the best and most diverse candidates to our school, work experience and graduate programmes across the UK. 

 

We are looking for someone who can manage relationships with schools and universities at the highest level and foster best-in-class relationships. You'll also plan how we can engage a diverse talent pool; we want to give everybody that first start. You will also be involved in designing and running innovative candidate engagement events at scale and delivering on internal projects within the team to make EY stand out.

Your key responsibilities

  • Contributes to the achievement of Student Recruitment hiring targets across all programmes by demonstrating measurable impact on fill rate linked to activity, reviews pipeline reports weekly and initiates course corrections to ensure university and school campaign plans are coordinated across the team
  • Partnering with university/ early career officials to build brand awareness and promote EY as a top employer of early career talent.
  • Deliver bold events strategies, planning and executing innovative bespoke events, ensuring we see a clear ROI whilst also providing a great candidate experience.
  • Actively engage with potential candidates through various channels, including social media, online job boards, and professional organizations
  • Builds a strong internal network, for example, with Talent Shared Services, Resourcing, Operations, HR and the business. Able to remain abreast of key issues and events and to provide exceptional service and insight

 

MI & Reporting

  • Produces and interprets weekly data to assess ROI on campus and schools activity to help shape future strategy.
  • Uses the recruitment portals effectively so that data is maintained with integrity and updates the recruitment records consistently to ensure accurate reporting of candidate activity at all times

 

Student Recruitment Advisor team delivery 

  • Strategically prioritising and directing workload across the Advisor group and ensuring consistent ways of working are applied 
  • Monitoring key processes and controls to ensure that quality standards and protocols are being adhered to 
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements with a focus on quality, candidate experience, stakeholder needs and team efficiencies  
  • Leading Advisor group team meetings   


We operate a hybrid model, you will need to spend time in the office, and you will also spend up to 50% of your time at university or school events. Ideally, you'll be based in London or Bristol.

 

Skills and attributes for success
First and foremost, you'll have a real passion for student recruitment, with innovative ideas for events that will create a big impact. You'll also have the same passion for using data to produce MI which will direct future success.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • A passion for student recruitment, with prior experience in recruitment marketing and student campaigns
  • Previous experience in a large organisation in a high-volume campaigns role or delivering across scale and regional complexity
  • Experience in event management and delivery
  • Strong data skills with the ability to spot anomalies and tell stories with that data; you should be confident using Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs etc)
  • Relationship-building skills – with the ability to challenge where necessary, always acting with integrity and enthusiasm
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and to high standards, able to take the lead on assigned projects using knowledge to achieve quality results 
  • Experience of leading and motivating others with an emphasis on coaching and counselling 


Ideally, you'll also have:

  • Experience in either school or university recruitment (ideally both)
  • Proven track record of executing volume recruitment 
  • Experience of public speaking/ delivering workshops to students 
  • An understanding of Undergraduate and schools work experience programmes
  • Experience of managing campaigns for multiple positions and building candidate pipelines
  • Social media knowledge and experience 
  • Ability to quickly prioritise work and remain flexible in accordance with business needs
