The opportunity
The purpose of the global EY organization is to Build a better working world. The insights and services the organization provides help to drive long-term value for clients, people and society and to build trust in the capital markets. An essential function under EY Business Enablement, Supply Chain Services (SCS) is a global team with more than 600 professionals in over 35 countries supporting the EY organization across the globe. This structure helps enable knowledge-sharing across categories and regions, streamlining efforts in seeking innovative suppliers that can provide exceptional client service to maximize SCS’s value for the EY organization and the world's supply chain.
A key component of SCS is Technology, Talent, Alliances and BMC (TTAB) SCS, whose purpose is to drive significant synergies and value creation from sourcing to contract lifecycle management, deliver exceptional client experiences and build more vital collaboration to manage Technology, Talent, Alliances and Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) spend categories. We forge meaningful supplier relationships and strengthen supplier resilience to help EY maximize long-term value for its people, clients and communities.
As a Digital Strategy & Solutions intern with TTAB SCS, you will have the opportunity to support the TTAB SCS Strategic Enablement. You will work with the Digital Strategy & Solutions team to implement digital solutions that drive the procurement transformation. We use technology, data analytics and strategic insights to drive innovation within the organization. As an intern you will have an opportunity to participate in interesting projects and gain experience both in digital strategy and procurement area.
Your key responsibilities
- Conduct research on procurement trends, existing solutions, and technologies to analyse opportunities for process improvement
- Support with creating project documentation (business cases, project plans, project charters, scope etc.)
- Act as touchpoint for support, ensuring team members are aligned with ongoing initiatives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, insights and objectives
- Support with data collection required for project maintanance
- Ad hoc project tasks and responsibilities as required
Skills and attributes for success
- Enthusiasm to collaboratively co-develop strategies and set and manage expectations within a complex and global environment
- Excellent communication and networking skills – must have the ability to communicate in English effectively, transparently, and timely across multiple mediums (email, voice, IM, etc) in a global environment
- Ability to work in a high pace, agile environment
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, operating flexibly to manage multiple evolving priorities effectively
- High level of cultural awareness and EQ
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and have an appetite for challenge and change
- Provide high level of Exceptional Client Service
Ideally, you’ll also have
- A strong interest in digital solutions, new digital technologies
- Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills in business English
- Experience with a global, culturally diverse organization
- Experience working collaboratively, virtually, and independently
