Tax Technology & Transformation – Operational Transfer Pricing Manager

The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and ambitious manager to join our Integration team to focus on Operational Transfer Pricing technology implementations. As a Manager in the team, you will be working on large scale implementation projects across a wide range of technology solutions (Alteryx, Power Platform, SAP PaPM, Oracle PCMCS and other 3rd party solutions) with a view to helping our clients operationalise their Transfer Pricing policies.

Your Key Responsibilities
We are looking for strong candidates with experience of working within Transfer Pricing (in-house or professional services) and a keen interest in technology. Day to day responsibilities include:
- Working with senior and junior colleagues across our Transfer Pricing and EY TTT Consulting practices to help solve complex Operational Transfer Pricing challenges for our clients
- Managing Operational Transfer Pricing implementation projects from end to end
- Facilitating workshops with clients to capture business requirements and articulate the benefits and drawbacks of different technology systems
- Working with clients to understand business requirements and translate that into design documentation to support a technology implementation
- Build and develop our Operational TP implementation proposition in line with market trends
- Own the project management responsibility throughout all phases of an implementation project
- Provide technology consulting support on Transfer Pricing processes, governance and risk management for our clients
- Keep up to date with the latest technology offerings and changes to Operational Transfer Pricing Technology with a view to identifying client opportunities and enhancing our market proposition for clients
- Coaching and mentoring junior members of the team, and building out the necessary skillset within the team to support Operational Transfer Pricing technology implementations
Skills and Attributes for success
Candidates would ideally have a range of the below skills, however not all are essential
- A broad technical understanding of Transfer Pricing and the processes that clients adopt as part of the Operational Transfer Pricing Lifecycle
- Experience of working on Transfer Pricing technology implementations, working with multiple stakeholder groups both at the client and internally
- Experience supporting on Transfer Pricing aspects of finance or tax transformation programmes
- An understanding of how the Transfer Pricing function uses ERP systems to support the Operational Transfer Pricing Lifecycle
- Ability to build up a pipeline of opportunities by supporting business development activities within the role
- Ability to execute and manage deliverables across multiple projects
- Experience of working with clients in a consulting environment
- Strong project management skills
- Strong communication with an ability to clearly articulate and engage with Transfer Pricing, Tax and IT stakeholders
- Strong team player and client relationship skills
- Strong coaching skills to help develop junior team members
To qualify for the role you must have
- Experience working within Transfer Pricing (either in-house or professional services)
- A strong interest in technology
- Accounting or Tax Qualification is preferable but not required.
