Your key responsibilities
We are currently seeking to hire into our Business Design Team at Manager level.
As a Manager within our Business Design Team, you will be part of a solid team of like-minded people with extensive industry experience and a focus on a positive culture, high-quality work, and building a better working world for us and our clients - A strong handle on problem-solving, client relationship-building, and confidence is key here.
On the day-to-day, you’ll get the chance to:
- Utilise your skills in the areas of structured problem solving, business analysis, analytics, design thinking, and lean process improvement to help our clients drive profitability and performance improvement through their business operations.
- Identify areas for process improvement across existing ways of working be it system, process, or people changes.
- Effectively analyse and define business requirements through stakeholder engagement and reviewing existing processes.
- Manage people and project teams & engage directly with senior client stakeholders to drive business outcomes, including the facilitation of client interviews, workshops, and project governance sessions.
- Be involved in projects across the end-to-end project lifecycle, from business case development to project execution and close-out.
- Help ensure that the requirements and the process are fit for purpose, supporting the design, build, and test of the changes and business readiness/training activities.
- Draw on EY’s unique capabilities in Digital, Process Excellence, Business Analyst, and experience from our global consulting network.
- Work with a global team of experts to develop unique, innovative, and game-changing solutions as well as benefitting from best-in-class operations-focused training.
To qualify for the role, you ideally will have:
- Strong academic record with a relevant third-level degree
- Experience in applying best practice Business and Process Analysis techniques.
- Strong numeric analysis, presentation, Process Mapping, and requirement-gathering skills
- Proven Microsoft Office experience
- Experience in applying Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies.
- Agile design experience/ certification, preferred.
- 4-5+ Years in Management Consulting or Relevant industry role (Management Consulting experience a benefit)
- People Management experience including performance management, coaching and development
- Lean six sigma and/or BCS training/certification an advantage.
