Help clients gain insights into their privacy programs and capabilities to maintain compliance to state, federal and global privacy regulations. Consult with privacy and cyber managers to determine the capabilities of current systems and processes to support privacy compliance at a client organization. Conduct testing to ensure that implemented systems support privacy and compliance work as expected. Train the systems’ end users and write instructions manuals. Identify integration points to existing client computer systems. Support the development of technologies in support of privacy and control frameworks to increase the client’s efficiency and effectiveness. Assist the team in advising clients on managing their privacy programs to mitigate their business and compliance risk. Research, design, and develop process flows to meet privacy and compliance obligations. Perform other process analysis work for privacy and data protection as required. Assess privacy programs and strategies using proprietary frameworks, design solutions to remediate gapes or enhance specific privacy capabilities, improve measurements and monitoring, and develop sustainable privacy related processes to enable our clients to achieve business goals and mitigate their risks. Gain experience in applying risk management principles to a privacy and cybersecurity environment and leveraging cybersecurity frameworks/standards.
Provide guidance and share knowledge with team members with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services focusing on more complex, judgmental and/or specialized issues. Demonstrate technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Learn about EY and its service lines and actively assess and present ways to apply knowledge and services.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Science, Data, Business, Ethics, Law, or a related field and 2 years of related work experience. Alternatively, will accept Master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Science, Data, Business, Ethics, Law, or a related field and 1 of related work experience.
Must have 1 year of work experience in a privacy environment assessing client risk and compliance to Global privacy regulations.
Must have one of the following:
- 1 year of experience in 3 of the following areas:
- Secure messaging/email encryption
- Mobile device security
- Disk, file, device, and database encryption
- Data classification and privacy policies
- Digital Rights Management (DRM)
- Logging, monitoring, and security event management or
- Secure information storage; OR
- 1 year of experience in at least one of the following regulatory requirements and/or compliance issues affecting clients related to privacy and data protection: PCI DSS, GLBA, Basel II, EU Data Protection Directive, International Cross Border and United States’ State Data Privacy Laws.
Must have 1 year of communicating orally and in writing with client stakeholders.
Must have 1 year of writing reports on findings and analysis of privacy issues.
Must have 1 year of experience in implementation of privacy compliance technologies.
Requires travel up to 80%, including international to serve client requirements.
