Position Overview
QinetiQ US is looking to hire an experienced military Project Lead, to support the integration and understanding of the capabilities of new technology systems. This is a hybrid work opportunity requiring 3 days a week on-site support at Fort Belvoir, VA and frequent travel to test sites.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of tools to aid Leadership’s ability to understand the capability of new technology systems and their impact on active and future battle plans.
- Assist in Leadership’s ability to ingest and monitor battle plans and provide recommended courses of action.
- Draft scenarios to test and evaluate new technology systems.
- Provide SME input into the development of the technology’s microservices.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience supporting military Operations with responsibility for Military Decision Making Process (MDMP) and Current Operations (CUOPS).
- Willingness and ability to work on-site 3 days a week at Fort Belvoir, VA.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% regularly, with surges of up to 50% for 1-2 months per year.
- Active DOD Secret or higher level clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a Combat Arms or Intelligence branch within the Army
- The ideal candidate would be a former Army Officer or Senior Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) with experience supporting one or more of the following projects:
- S3 at the Battalion or Brigade Level
- BN/BDE Executive Officer
- Chief of Operations (CHOPS)
- Assistant S3
- Ops SGM
