About the Role:

The Senior Manager, Internal Communications will lead the development and execution of Twitch's internal communications strategy. You will report to the Global Head of Communications and partner with senior leadership, as well as and the people, employee experience, and communications teams to foster belonging and help keep employees around the globe informed and engaged. 

You’ll oversee our weekly All Hands, improve the efficacy of existing channels and consider developing new ones to help inform and ensure alignment. You will work with the Twitch executive team and provide strategic counsel company-wide news and announcements, and crisis and change management. You’ll partner with the people team to help shape our inclusion, diversity, equity and belonging strategy and programs. You can lead with confidence and are comfortable working with senior executives.

This role may be remote in the US, with a preference for location in San Francisco, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Irvine, CA; Seattle, WA; New York, NY.

You Will:
- Oversee and develop a comprehensive approach to internal communications, setting the strategic direction in close collaboration with the executive team 
- Develop innovative ways of communicating with and engaging employees across a range of formats 
- Develop and implement communication programs to help bring our mission to life for employees
- Identify opportunities to help employees understand Twitch’s goals and objectives, and how their work ladders up 
- Partner with our People team and company leadership on news and announcements, including crisis and change management.

Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in internal communications, including experience working in-house
- Proven success building and implementing internal communications programs
- Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in dynamic environments
- Strong collaboration and project management skills
- Experience counseling C-level executives
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
- Enthusiasm for Twitch and our community

Preferred Qualifications

- Passion for creators or experience as one yourself

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $113,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
