The Resource Coordinator will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisors to schedule work orders and support the technicians in the field. This individual will schedule and monitor the work of our in-house technicians on jobs daily. The mechanical aptitude to understand and guide work performed across several trades such as plumbing, electrical, and remodeling is essential. Confidence and a personable demeanor are important for building and maintaining excellent relationships with our technicians. The schedule is a constant work in progress as new work orders and emergencies are always coming in, so this individual must have the flexibility and agility to adapt to our clients’ rapidly changing needs.

Role and Responsibilities:

· Schedule technicians to complete work orders taking into consideration location, technician’s capabilities, and urgency of work orders.

· Adjust the schedule throughout the day to accommodate emergencies and incoming work orders.

· Procure materials needed to complete work orders by either directly purchasing or approving purchases by technicians.

· Ensure labor is allocated complete work in our departments time frame and budget, working with coordinators to obtain increases as needed.

· Communicate closely with technicians as work is being performed to ensure high quality of work and clear scope.

· Review technicians’ notes and photos upon completion of each work order, ensuring the assigned coordinator has all the information needed before releasing the technician from the job site.

· Record labor and material expenses and process receipts/invoices on each job.

Qualifications:

· A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in construction, maintenance, or project management.

· Must be able to troubleshoot issues across several trades, most importantly plumbing and light electrical.

· Must be able to work independently, take ownership and responsibility for all work done with attention to detail.

· Must be highly proficient with computers.

· Must be able to identify and source materials across several trades.

· Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

· Must have reliable transportation to/from work.

· High School diploma/GED or trade school equivalent.
