Stafford Castle is a Grade II listed castle situated approximately 2 miles outside of the town of Stafford. The site itself is 27 acres and consists of the Keep, inner bailey, outer bailey, herb garden, woodland along with the visitor Centre which houses armour, arms and costumes.
We are looking for a Cleaner to join our team at Stafford Castle Visitor Centre, you will be opening the main gate on arrival and ensuring that facilities within our Visitor Centre are clean and ready to welcome our visitors. We are looking for someone to undertake cleaning tasks to a high standard, maintaining our commitment to our customers. You will need to undertake cleaning tasks in all the public and office areas, and must have good attention to detail.
Full training will be given for this role and if you want to progress further, we will support this through additional training, both formal and on the job will be key.
Due to our location a full driving licence and your own vehicle will be required.

Hours: 4.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday
Additional hours may be available during seasonal periods.
Requirements
- To undertake building cleaning at the Visitor Centre.
- To open the main gate on arrival.
- To undertake cleaning tasks to a high standard, maintaining our commitment to customers on cleanliness.
- To follow all safety policies and operating documents when cleaning the building.
- To monitor the cleaning stock levels
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Must have full driving licence and have own vehicle
