The Role

As Area Sales Manager you will support our customers located within the Central East, UK and be responsible for building and maintaining strong long-term customer relationships within those areas with the aim to achieve agreed business goals.

  • Fully accountable for managing, developing and building both existing and new customer base across the area for both brands (Methven & Deva)
  • Implement/review customer specific pricing (Including Price Increases)
  • Prepare, implement, maintain and regularly review agreed business plans to ensure set objectives are being met
  • Compiling and analysing sales figures / reports (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annually)
  • Provide a weekly/monthly area forecast
  • Providing key market insight including changes in customer requirements, interests, competitor activity, newly launched products, etc.
  • Plan, execute and evaluate all campaign
  • Communicate all marketing and public relations activities to all accounts

Requirements

    • Confident, self-motivated, driven, and dynamic
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
    • Prioritising, time management and organisation skills
    • Competent knowledge of MS Office (Including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams)
    • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
    • Entrepreneurial mind-set with the ability to capitalise on opportunities
    • Strong commercial awareness
    • Presentation Skills (one to one and group)
    • Proven track record in delivering on set targets /sales
    • Analytical, Forecasting, Problem Solving and Cost Management skills
    • Full UK driving licence
    • Tap, Shower Market knowledge (Desirable)
    • Technical Product Knowledge (Desirable)
