The Role
As Area Sales Manager you will support our customers located within the Central East, UK and be responsible for building and maintaining strong long-term customer relationships within those areas with the aim to achieve agreed business goals.
- Fully accountable for managing, developing and building both existing and new customer base across the area for both brands (Methven & Deva)
- Implement/review customer specific pricing (Including Price Increases)
- Prepare, implement, maintain and regularly review agreed business plans to ensure set objectives are being met
- Compiling and analysing sales figures / reports (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annually)
- Provide a weekly/monthly area forecast
- Providing key market insight including changes in customer requirements, interests, competitor activity, newly launched products, etc.
- Plan, execute and evaluate all campaign
- Communicate all marketing and public relations activities to all accounts
Requirements
- Confident, self-motivated, driven, and dynamic
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Prioritising, time management and organisation skills
- Competent knowledge of MS Office (Including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams)
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Entrepreneurial mind-set with the ability to capitalise on opportunities
- Strong commercial awareness
- Presentation Skills (one to one and group)
- Proven track record in delivering on set targets /sales
- Analytical, Forecasting, Problem Solving and Cost Management skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Tap, Shower Market knowledge (Desirable)
- Technical Product Knowledge (Desirable)
