The Role
As Area Sales Manager you will support our customers located within the Central East, UK and be responsible for building and maintaining strong long-term customer relationships within those areas with the aim to achieve agreed business goals.
Fully accountable for managing, developing and building both existing and new customer base across the area for both brands (Methven & Deva)
Implement/review customer specific pricing (Including Price Increases)
Prepare, implement, maintain and regularly review agreed business plans to ensure set objectives are being met
Compiling and analysing sales figures / reports (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annually)
Provide a weekly/monthly area forecast
Providing key market insight including changes in customer requirements, interests, competitor activity, newly launched products, etc.
Plan, execute and evaluate all campaign
Communicate all marketing and public relations activities to all accounts
Requirements
Confident, self-motivated, driven, and dynamic
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Prioritising, time management and organisation skills
Competent knowledge of MS Office (Including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Teams)
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
Entrepreneurial mind-set with the ability to capitalise on opportunities
Strong commercial awareness
Presentation Skills (one to one and group)
Proven track record in delivering on set targets /sales
Analytical, Forecasting, Problem Solving and Cost Management skills
Full UK driving licence
Tap, Shower Market knowledge (Desirable)
Technical Product Knowledge (Desirable)
