Roles and responsibilities:
- Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our company adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develop strategies to mitigate risks effectively.
- Establish monitoring systems and conduct periodic audits to assess compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Investigate any reported or suspected compliance violations, including allegations of unethical conduct, and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate compliance reports to management, regulatory agencies, and other relevant stakeholders as required.
- Stay informed about changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards related to compliance and recommend adjustments to policies and procedures as necessary.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional - CCEP) preferred.
- Proven experience (X years) in compliance management, preferably in a regulated industry such as finance, healthcare, or manufacturing.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and assess compliance risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ethical and principled approach to compliance management, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
