Paralegal
Location: Deira, Dubai
We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Paralegal. This role is suitable for a recent graduate or someone with 1-2 years of experience, preferably with a degree or course in international law. While UAE experience is preferred, it is not required. Legal English proficiency is essential for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and precedents to support legal proceedings and decision-making.
- Assist in drafting legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and correspondence.
- Fill in legal forms and ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with external parties, such as clients, witnesses, and other legal professionals, as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and documents.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and organizing meetings.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the organization's operations and legal matters
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management to meet the evolving needs of the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Legal Studies, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience working as a paralegal or in a similar legal support role.
- Familiarity with UAE legal procedures, including civil and commercial laws, is advantageous.
- Proficiency in legal research techniques and resources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Proficiency in MS Office applications and legal software tools
