Job Description

LinkedIn is looking for a Senior Manager to lead a small team of GTM Operations associates and senior associates. The successful candidate will operate both as an individual contributor and a team leader, given the highly operational nature of the role. The ideal candidate will possess functional experience (Sales Operations and similar functions) and industry experience (in digital advertising or in similar tech companies); and have demonstrated clear expertise in communicating with senior leadership, leveraging cross-functional teams, and driving execution at scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to building and protecting LinkedIn culture and values, and champion them throughout the office and team.
  • Coach and develop the team across technical and leadership topics. Inspire broader teams by raising the bar for excellence.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders, challenging the status quo, acting as a sounding board, and recommending solutions or deciding on initiatives within their scope.
  • Drive decision-making & program development by deriving analytics and insights from our systems.
  • Create tailored high impact communication materials that effectively outline problems, provide relevant insights, solutions, and next steps.
  • Present effectively to senior audiences (including Directors and VPs).
  • Inform the commercial GTM priorities of stakeholders and align to business direction.
  • Lead projects and complex workstreams with key stakeholders and cross-functional partners to make data-driven decisions.
  • Be the subject matter expert in LinkedIn Marketing Solutions and share insights across LinkedIn to help accelerate other parts of the business.
  • Improve sales capability and effectiveness by delivering management visibility into business performance and ensuring opportunities are managed effectively.
  • Gather requirements and project manage changes to our processes and sales technology that result in improvements in sales productivity or efficiency.
  • Lead the strategic planning process through data-driven recommendations in areas such as how to organize teams and improve productivity.
  • Create and help implement go-to-market strategy for specific markets or the region overall.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:   

  • 8+ years of experience in GTM Operations, Sales Operations, or similar function, in a large-scale organization.
  • 4+ years of experience in leading a direct team and collaborating with large teams.

Preferred Qualifications:  

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; with recent-hands on experience in working with complex data.
  • Experience in digital advertising and/or management consulting
  • Experience in project and/or program management in a matrix organization
  • MBA degree or advanced degree preferred (or equivalent work experience) 
  • Experience with sales processes, methodologies, and skills  
  • Strategic thinker who can think at the system-level, but make recommendations accordingly for subsystems  
  • Experience with change management and leading organizational transformation  
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills   
  • Proven record of accomplishment of working effectively across all levels and functions of an organization, inclusive of VP + sales leaders at a large organization     
  • Proficient negotiating with stakeholders to ensure process changes and system requirements address customer needs  
  • Strong business acumen, organizational, time management skills and attention to detail
