As an Insights Program Manager supporting the Talent Solutions business, you will leverage one of the richest proprietary data sets in the world. You will work with a high-caliber, passionate team. You will lead high-impact projects and scale data-driven thought leadership narratives that define the conversation in the industry value for our customers, our sales teams, and our business.
Each project will help supercharge our go-to-market efforts by infusing data into how we sell and the stories we tell. In this role, you will test, build, and support tools and processes used by thousands of talent professionals every day. This includes prototyping, developing, and validating internal and customer-facing solutions core to our success. Using your strong analytic skill, LinkedIn's unique data, and disciplined project management techniques, you will work cross-functionally to design and execute programs focused on accelerating LinkedIn’s growth. Put simply: you will use data to change how one of the world’s marquee technology companies sells.
Responsibilities:
Address business challenges by leveraging LinkedIn’s unique data to improve and create innovative apps on our insights’ platform
Leverage SQL/Hive/Presto/Python to extract necessary data and build out subsequent visualizations in Tableau and internal front-end systems
Conceptualize and drive initiatives that help our clients make better decisions with data
Create requirements and project plans for analytic programs, tools, or narratives and re-prioritize based on impact and effort to complete
Analyze results to generate business insights
Be the voice of the Talent Solutions customer by establishing a close relationship with sales teams
Become a customer-centric program manager, placing customer value at the center of all projects, analyses, and initiatives
Build cross-functional consensus for operational improvements and partner effectively with other teams
Evangelize the use of data in sales and act as a thought leader about the use of data in sales and marketing
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS degree
3+ years of experience with data analysis, data storytelling, turning data into insights and presenting to internal and/or external stakeholders
3+ years of consulting or project/product/program management experience working cross-functionally
2+ years working with SQL and data visualization tools to query large data-sets (e.g. Pig, Hive, Spark SQL, Tableau, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
BA/BS degree in math, marketing, statistics, economics or related quantitative field preferred
Possess business acumen and creative problem-solving skills
Embrace intellectual curiosity with a desire and ability to learn
Previous experience managing complex, multi-workstream programs
Capable of building a strong rapport with entry-level salesperson or engineer one moment and give a clear 30-second elevator pitch to a CEO the next
Previous experience leading cross-functional partnerships involving analytics
Previous experience with big data technologies (like Hadoop)
Previous experience with data visualization and telling stories with data (Tableau, other data viz tools)
Capable of grasping the value LinkedIn creates for members and companies AND getting really excited thinking about the potential of its data to help solve business problems

The pay range for this role is $98,000 to $153,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
