SUMMARY

Wiz is looking for a Director of Global Technology Alliances who will be instrumental in developing and executing a comprehensive partnership strategy. This role involves identifying, negotiating, and managing high-impact partnerships with leading technology companies, enhancing our product offerings, and expanding our market reach. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in technology partnerships, a keen understanding of cloud security landscapes, and a proven track record of generating revenue through strategic alliances.

Reporting to the RVP of Strategic Partners, success will be accomplished by delivering innovative programs with our strategic technology partners. These programs will be integrated with our broader ecosystem.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Strategy Development: Craft a global strategy for technology partnerships that aligns with the company’s long-term business objectives. Evaluate potential alliances considering our technological direction and market needs.
  • Partnership Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners across various sectors, including software vendors, cloud providers, and security solution companies. Manage all aspects of partner engagement from negotiation to integration and support.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product management, and engineering, to ensure that partnership agreements deliver maximum value and are well-integrated with our existing solutions.
  • Market Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities by leveraging partnerships. Assist in defining new market entries with joint go-to-market strategies.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish clear metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of partnerships. Regularly review partnership performance and make adjustments to strategies as necessary.
  • Industry Presence: Represent the company at industry conferences, panels, and events to enhance brand visibility and strengthen our position in the market.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in business development, partnership management, or a related field in the technology or cybersecurity industry.
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing strategic partnerships and alliances at a global level.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, cybersecurity trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and foster mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to engage and influence senior executives.
  • Proven leadership skills and the capacity to work across functional teams to drive business outcomes.
  • Willingness to travel globally as required by the job.
