The role will be based in our London office and report to the Senior Marketing Manager - UKI.
As an Assistant Trade Marketing Manager - UKI, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our omnichannel marketing strategies to build brand awareness, drive growth potential, and build brand equity. You will work closely with the Senior Brand Manager and Commercial team to develop and execute initiatives that enhance brand visibility, drive sales, and strengthen relationships with key retailers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the development and implementation of trade marketing plans and strategies aligned with overall business objectives
Partner closely with the Commercial Team and oversee all trade marketing asset delivery on time – from P pages
Lead and execute sampling, GWP, and brand merch strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Visual Merchandising to ensure the effective execution of trade marketing initiatives
Project owner brand and retailer events, pop-ups and consumer led activations, successfully navigating negotiation with external vendors and directing the multifunctional team internally to deliver successful events
Monitor and evaluate the performance of trade marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization
Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth
Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate key metrics, trends, and insights to internal stakeholders
Support updating the Trading Marketing Calendar
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be comfortable working a hybrid schedule (1-3 days per week in our London Office)
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
4+ years of experience in trade marketing, brand management, or sales within the beauty industry is highly desired
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations
Confident and adept presenter for external and internal presentations, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proven project management abilities with keen attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to navigate prioritization of work streams across retailers and brand campaigns
Ability to work collaboratively with counterparts in Zone and Global teams
Knowledge of the competitive marketplace, online space, and store retail environment
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
