The mission of our Information Security team is to ensure the development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive program that effectively protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Point72 information assets. Our team is comprised of security professionals with expertise in a diverse portfolio of security disciplines.
Summary
We are seeking an experienced network segmentation security specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in network security fundamentals, specifically in network segmentation/zero trust tools and strategies.
What you’ll do
- Architect, develop, deploy, and manage our network segmentation solution
- Engage with other engineering and application development teams to drive alignment on network segmentation requirements
- Work independently and as part of a team to urgently analyze and troubleshoot escalated issues and train and provide technical training to Tier I & II Technicians
- Collaborate with the Networking Engineering and Operations teams on the architecture, deployment and management of the global network segmentation strategy, providing input on security architecture
- Assist in the configuration and management of network security platforms such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, DDoS, etc. to ensure that they are up-to-date and configured to industry best practices
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure secure integration of cloud services, AWS, Azure, GCP, implementing network segmentation security controls
- Conduct risk assessments of applications to identify network security vulnerabilities and recommend remediation plans
- Develop documentation and train peers on network segmentation best practices and policies
What’s Required
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, related field, or equivalent industry work experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network security as an engineer or architect
- In-depth knowledge of network segmentation, including micro segmentation and zero trust architecture with tools such as Illumio, Guardicore, Zero Networks, NSX-T, Cisco ACI, Unisys Stealth, etc.
- Experience with network security architectures and products, including firewalls (Palo Alto Networks), intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and SIEM (Splunk) platforms
- Experience with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) architectures
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Ability to analyze network traffic, identify security threats, propose effective solutions and apply vision and direction
- Flexibility for 24/7 on call rotation as needed

The annual base salary range for this role is $150,000-$175,000, which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
