ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate marketing and sales of new and pre-owned vehicles.
- Assume responsibility for customer retention and profitability in the Retail Sales Department.
- Effective time management, knowledge of market potential, and performance standards.
- Hire, train and manage sales staff.
- Understand dealership policies, procedures, and sales systems.
- Set standards for displaying, merchandising, and maintaining inventory.
- Ensure we remain competitive in the market.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
- Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment.
- Ability to communicate by providing verbal feedback in a professional manner.
- Ability to receive and analyze data and input into the computer.
- Sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Climbing in and out of vehicles.
- Occasional stooping and bending.
- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 45 lbs.
- Normal range of hearing and vision.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with good standing MVR.
- Successful track record of developing relationships and closing sales.
- Direct industry experience selling vehicles is a plus!
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to successfully pass a General Abilities Assessment and Post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
JOB DETAILS:
- Type: Salary + Bonus
- Base Salary Compensation Range: $95,000 - $105,000
- Bonus Eligibility: Yes with total earning potential exceeding $200,000
- Reports To: General Manager
- Closing Date: Open until filled.
