Transwest GMC and Isuzu, one of the premier automotive retailers in the Denver area, has an opening for a highly motivated Automotive Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a highly successful Sales Manager looking to make an immediate impact. The Sales Manager will be responsible for working the sales floor, in addition to leading the sales team. Candidate(s) must have a proven track record of success, expert deal closing abilities, good reputation, inventory management experience, and exceptional training and leadership skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate marketing and sales of new and pre-owned vehicles.
Assume responsibility for customer retention and profitability in the Retail Sales Department.
Effective time management, knowledge of market potential, and performance standards.
Hire, train and manage sales staff.
Understand dealership policies, procedures, and sales systems.
Set standards for displaying, merchandising, and maintaining inventory.
Ensure we remain competitive in the market.
Other duties as assigned by the manager.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment.
Ability to communicate by providing verbal feedback in a professional manner.
Ability to receive and analyze data and input into the computer.
Successful track record of developing relationships and closing sales.
Direct industry experience selling vehicles is a plus!
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail oriented.
Ability to successfully pass a General Abilities Assessment and Post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
JOB DETAILS:
Type: Salary + Bonus
Base Salary Compensation Range: $95,000 - $105,000
Bonus Eligibility: Yes with total earning potential exceeding $200,000
Reports To: General Manager
