The Payroll Domain is on a mission to make Personio the big player in payroll and offer a smart payroll solution that can handle any kind of employee and use HR specific data blended into payroll. Using our services, our customers save tons of money and time - and HR Managers can delegate the most complex tasks to us so they can gain peace of mind and focus on what really matters: people.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do
- Strategy: You define and execute the International Payroll strategy, setting clear goals and objectives to drive business growth and user engagement.
- Hiring: You recruit, hire, and onboard top engineering talent to build a high-performing and collaborative team.
- Technical Leadership: You provide technical guidance and leadership to the International Payroll engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and excellence.
- Delivery: You oversee the planning and execution of International Payroll development projects, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality applications.
- Partnership: You collaborate closely with product management, design, and other stakeholders to align initiatives with business objectives and user needs.
- Innovate: You stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and industry best practices in development, and drive innovation within the team.
- Communication: You effectively communicate the International Payroll strategy, progress, and outcomes to senior management and cross-functional teams.
Role Requirements: What you need to succeed
- You have 5+ years of management experience. You’ve managed and grown high-performing teams, and learned from your failures.
- Your strong leadership skills attract, motivate, and inspire new engineers to achieve exceptional results.
- You have the ability to lead and make decisions to push forward. You’re comfortable owning even the most ambiguous problems and defining the road ahead.
- You manage complex development projects, including planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills allow you to effectively present ideas, influence stakeholders, and build relationships.
