Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding Physician Assistant to the group at Metropolitan Hospital Center. The Hospital is part of the NYC Health + Hospitals System (NYCHHC). Metropolitan Hospital Center accommodates over 313,000 outpatient visits, nearly 70,000 emergency room visits and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually.

Responsibilities
PAGNY Metropolitan is hiring a full time Physician Assistant in the Emergency Medicine Department.
Duties Include:
- Performing history and physical examinations
- Ordering diagnostic tests based on assessments
- Developing treatment plans, prescribing drugs and other therapies as needed
- Making referrals as necessary, consulting with supervising medical provider when appropriate
- Maintaining patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program
- BLS/ACLS certification
- NYS License Required
- NCCPA Certification Required
- Cultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient population
- Must have proven ability to work in a team environment
