St. John Regional Catholic School is seeking a highly skilled individual to serve as a Middle School Math Teacher. We provide a Catholic education through excellent academic and extracurricular programs that promote leadership, achievement, and service within the church and community.

Essential Functions

• Follows and maintains knowledge of all AOB policies and procedures.
   
• Implement lesson plans utilizing a variety of techniques to motivate, challenge, and engage students.
   
• Plan and execute an instructional program that upholds the values and ideals of the Catholic Church.
   
• Create an instructional environment conducive to learning that is appealing and organized.
   
• Interact effectively and respond to all parent communication in a professional, empathetic, and timely manner.
   
• Maintain high professional standards consistent with the Catholic mission and the teachings of the Catholic Church.
   
• Safely and actively supervise students both inside and outside of the classroom.
   
• Expertly integrate G Suite for Education into a 21st Century classroom.
   
• Meet the needs, interests, and abilities of students in accordance with the curriculum. Effective instruction will include differentiated learning.

Position Qualifications

• Degree in math or Education with a math concentration.
   
• MSDE teacher certification in Education for Math or the desire to obtain this.
   
• Knowledge of curriculum and principles and practices of pedagogy.
   
• Must be proficient in using a variety of technology during daily lessons as well as to enrich and differentiate instruction.
   
• Employment is contingent upon acceptable results of a state and federal fingerprint background check, completion of VIRTUS
• Training, and completion of all necessary paperwork.
   
• Support and uphold Catholic moral and social teaching and the mission of SJRCS (practicing Catholic preferred).
   
• Demonstrates ability to operate with a growth mindset and seek opportunities for feedback.
