We are looking for a fun and responsible individual to mentor and inspire campers aged 4-12 years old. The Camp Counselor will be responsible for monitoring, communicating, and overseeing the day-to-day activities of our campers. In addition, they will assist in the oversight of camper well-being on campus grounds, while promoting a safe, secure, and healthy environment for their development. This is a part-time, seasonal opening during the 7 weeks of camp at St. Agnes Catonsville Parish. The schedule is 30 hours per week in 6 hour shifts.

Essential Functions:

• Plan lessons and activities related to faith formation, appropriate for campers.
• Executing daily activities with children and supervise activities and behavior.
• Provide guidance for an aide.

Position Qualifications:

• Experience with and enthusiasm for working with children.
• Knowledge of activities that are entertaining and stimulating for children.
• Knowledge of safety issues surrounding children. 
• Skills in relaying positive reinforcement and communication. 
• Ability to organize environment and effectively manage time. 
• Ability to prioritize work, react quickly and positively to children.
• Desire to work in a Catholic environment and grow in faith.
