We are seeking a talented Senior Hydrogeologist to join our team in the Folsom, CA office. In this role you will be responsible for managing and executing hydrogeological tasks for a variety of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage hydrogeological projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Interpret hydrogeological, geological, and geochemical data
- Conduct field investigations, including drilling supervision, soil and groundwater sampling, aquifer testing, and hydrogeological assessments
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and presentations
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Studies, or Environmental Science with a geology focus from an accredited institution
- 10-15 years of experience in hydrogeology
- Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Hydrogeologist (PHG) certification is preferred
- Strong knowledge of groundwater modeling software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and lead project teams

- Typical salary range for a Senior Water Resources Engineer is $130,000-$180,000. Your role on projects and salary will be based on your abilities and qualifications.
