Mid-Level Survey Field Crew opportunities available! DRMP's Survey Department in Charlotte, NC is GROWING & HIRING! We're seeking experienced candidates who are looking for an opportunity to continue growing! *We offer Professional Development and Mentorship opportunities.Your Primary Responsibilities will include
- Operate instruments and data collection systems (total stations, levels, and other measuring devices) to acquire data for various types of surveys.
- Assist or perform processing of field measurements and related data; Limited equipment maintenance.
- Maintain supplies for crew vehicles.
- Knowledge of and ability to execute the duties of the rod person (entry-level person) and ability to substitute for and perform the duties of the crew chief when absent.
What you'll need
- High School and/or specialized training from a vocational or technical school.
- Valid driver's license with approved/acceptable driving history required.
- Ability to travel (if needed)
- Ability to carry and lift equipment as needed on the project.
- Ability to cut and/or clear brush while establishing survey lines. (machete use)
- Knowledge of equipment and the ability to set up for various types for different work situations.
- Ability to hold and proficiently use all measuring devices.
