ABOUT THE JOB
Tepa Companies is seeking a Contracts Administrator to be responsible for assisting the Contracts Manager with all areas of the contracting process in accordance with Tepa’s Contracting Policies and Procedures and as directed by the Contracts Manager. As a Contracts Administrator, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure that corporate entity compliance requirements are met, and contracting measures are implemented effectively.
Job responsibilities include:
Provide guidance with processing contracts and related documentation in collaboration with project team members and in accordance with on Tepa’s Contracting Policies and Procedures; facilitate internal communications to attain all required information from requesting personnel to facilitate timely contract reviews and/or timely responses.
Assist with reviewing, drafting, preparing, and issuing contract documents including addenda items, change orders and close out documentation.
Identify risks and obligations in various documents in collaboration with the Contracts Manager.
Assist with verification of insurance coverage, insurance compliance, and other general compliance and research matters.
Provide support in preparation and issue of contract status reports and contract training documents.
Maintain and compile training materials, contract files, document control, and retention of files electronically; seek, receive, and store all finalized and executed contracts routed through the Corporate Risk Department.
Manage and update Tepa’s Contracts’ Library with finalized templates, policies, and general communications.
Assist with revision and/or response to revisions of Terms & Conditions consistent with Tepa’s Contracting Policies and Procedures; assist with making approved corrections to contractual documents and/or written communications as instructed.
Maintain and compile all non-disclosure agreements; maintain and compile all Master Agreements and facilitate communications geared towards their renewals in consultation with the Project Managers.
Provide clerical support, including typing, filing, copying, scanning contracts, and posting approved information in the approved shared drive.
Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any other related field.
Minimum of 5 years in contracting administration or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 3 years contract experience in drafting, analyzing, and amending contract.
Strong understanding of contract law principles and regulations.
Required to have contract writing skills, written and communication skills, excellent time management and organizational skills, along with detail-oriented skills.
Ability to successfully complete multiple projects in a timely manner despite interruptions and new deadlines.
Ability to write the following: reports, general business correspondences and basic procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
Must have Intermediate Microsoft Word, Power point and Excel skills.
Must be proficient in internet research
Must be able to type at least fifty (50) words per minute
