Starting Pay Range: $16 - $18/hr
As a lifeguard at the Mary C. Winder Community Center, you are responsible for maintaining safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas in accordance with policies and procedures. Your judgment, and tact will be crucial in providing fun and safe aquatic experiences for all Oneida Nation Community Members.

What you will do as a Lifeguard:
- Monitors and always maintains active surveillance for the Community Center’s pool, spa, and splash pad.
- Knows, understands, and consistently applies safety rules, policies, and guidelines for the pool and surrounding areas.
- Provides assistance to swimmers in difficulty and strives to prevent accidents by ensuring proper utilization of the facility.
To be successful as a Lifeguard, you'll need:
- Certified in First Aid, CPR and Lifesaving.
- Certification in Water Safety Instruction (WSI) strongly preferred.
- Experience with youth programs preferred.
