Job Title: Cybersecurity AnalystLocation: Stafford, VAType: Part-time, 2 days on-site per week for the first month, then 80% remoteSalary: $80,000 - $83,000 (Maximum)Overview: We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Stafford, VA. This position will initially require 2 days per week on-site for the first month, transitioning to predominantly remote work thereafter. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in DoD cybersecurity and hold a Security+ certification. A public trust clearance is required for this role due to govt rules and regulations/
Responsibilities:Conduct regular assessments of our organization's cybersecurity posture.Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect systems and data.Monitor network traffic for potential security breaches.Respond to security incidents and provide incident analysis and resolution.Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.Develop and implement security policies and procedures.Stay current with cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
Requirements:2+ years of experience in DoD cybersecurity.Security+ certification is required.Experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies.Strong understanding of network security protocols.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Must have at least a public trust clearance.
