Position Overview: The Financial Analyst with Federal Government and PPBE Experience will play a crucial role in supporting our government clients by providing comprehensive financial analysis, budget planning, and decision support services. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of federal government budgeting processes and the PPBE cycle, as well as strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Key Responsibilities:PPBE Cycle Support:Assist government clients in navigating the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) cycle, including budget formulation, justification, and execution phases.Collaborate with government stakeholders to develop budget submissions, program plans, and funding requests in accordance with agency priorities and objectives.Financial Analysis and Reporting:Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess program performance, identify trends, and evaluate budgetary implications.Prepare financial reports, variance analyses, and other management reports to inform decision-making and resource allocation.Budget Planning and Forecasting:Support the development of annual budget plans, multi-year financial forecasts, and long-range financial plans for government programs and initiatives.Assist in analyzing budgetary requirements, resource constraints, and funding trade-offs to optimize budget allocations.Financial Compliance and Oversight:Ensure compliance with federal financial regulations, policies, and procedures, including the Anti-Deficiency Act, Budget and Accounting Act, and OMB Circulars.Conduct internal audits and reviews to assess financial controls, mitigate risks, and address audit findings.Client Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with government clients, program managers, and budget analysts to understand their financial needs and objectives.Provide expert guidance and support to clients on financial management matters, including budget formulation, execution, and reporting.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.5+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or financial management, with a focus on federal government clients.In-depth knowledge of federal government budgeting processes, including the PPBE cycle, appropriations law, and fiscal policy.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting techniques.Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex financial information to diverse audiences.
