Job Descrption
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Payroll Accountant to join our team. The Senior Payroll Accountant will be responsible for payroll analysis for all companies within our organization and will serve as a backup for payroll processing when needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing, analysis, and compliance, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position is 2 days remote per week after initial onboarding period.
Responsibilities:
- Perform payroll analysis for all companies within the organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Serve as a backup for payroll processing, including processing payroll, calculating wages, and preparing payroll reports
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll
- Maintain payroll records and files in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues, deductions, and taxes
- Stay up-to-date on payroll regulations and compliance requirements
- Assist with special payroll projects as needed
