Job Description: We are currently seeking two experienced CADD Operators/Technicians to join our team in Baltimore, MD, and Lanham, MD. These positions offer an opportunity to work on exciting projects in either water and sewer design or transportation design. The ideal candidates will have 4-7 years of experience in their respective fields and possess strong technical skills in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD).
Key Responsibilities:Utilize CADD software to produce detailed drawings and plans for water and sewer systems or transportation projectsCollaborate with engineers and other team members to develop design solutions and ensure project objectives are metConduct site visits and assist in field surveys as neededReview and interpret project specifications and requirementsMaintain accurate documentation and records of design changes and revisionsCommunicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to address project needs and concerns
Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field4-7 years of experience in water and sewer design or transportation designProficiency in CADD software such as AutoCAD or MicroStationProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferred for respective positionsWSSC experience preferred for water and sewer design positionStrong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
