Job Descrption

Responsibilities:Assist loan officers and senior loan processors in gathering and organizing borrower documentation required for mortgage loan applications.Review loan applications, documents, and disclosures for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.Input borrower information and loan data into the company's loan origination system (LOS) and other software applications.Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to obtain additional documentation, clarification, or information as needed.Prepare and submit loan files to underwriting for review and approval, following established timelines and guidelines.Track and monitor loan pipeline, status, and deadlines to ensure timely processing and closing of loans.Assist with loan closing coordination, including scheduling appointments, preparing closing documents, and coordinating with title companies and settlement agents.Provide excellent customer service and support to borrowers and stakeholders throughout the loan process, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests in a professional and timely manner.Maintain accurate and organized loan files and documentation, adhering to company and regulatory record-keeping requirements.Stay informed of industry trends, changes, and updates in mortgage lending regulations and guidelines.Qualifications:College degree required.Previous experience in mortgage lending, banking, finance, or related field preferred but not required.Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately review and analyze loan documents and data.Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, procedures, and software systems.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
