Job Descrption
We are seeking a talented Transportation Civil Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in transportation infrastructure design, including roads, highways, bridges, and related structures. The Transportation Civil Design Engineer will be responsible for designing transportation projects, preparing engineering drawings and specifications, and ensuring that projects meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Design transportation infrastructure, including roads, highways, bridges, and related structures
- Prepare engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD and other design software
- Conduct traffic studies and analysis to optimize roadway design
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Review and approve contractor submittals and respond to requests for information (RFIs)
- Perform site visits and inspections as needed to ensure construction compliance
- Prepare cost estimates and project schedules
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in transportation design
