Job Descrption
We are seeking a skilled Water & Sewer Civil Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in water and sewer design and a strong background in civil engineering. The Water & Sewer Civil Design Engineer will be responsible for designing water and sewer systems, preparing engineering drawings and specifications, and ensuring that projects meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Design water and sewer systems, including pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities
- Prepare engineering drawings, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD and other design software
- Conduct hydraulic and hydrologic analyses to ensure system performance
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
- Review and approve contractor submittals and respond to requests for information (RFIs)
- Perform site visits and inspections as needed to ensure construction compliance
- Prepare cost estimates and project schedules
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in water and sewer design
