Position Overview: As the Director of IT, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our IT infrastructure and operations. This position requires a hands-on approach to data-driven decision-making and a strong background in cloud technologies. You will lead a team of IT professionals, manage projects, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the seamless operation of our IT systems. This role will require on-site presence in Annapolis twice a month.
Responsibilities:Develop and implement IT strategies to support business objectives.Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support.Manage IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.Oversee the operation and maintenance of all IT systems, including hardware, software, and networks.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address IT needs.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance IT processes and efficiency.Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT leadership roles.Strong hands-on experience with data-driven decision-making.Extensive knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly Azure and AWS.Proficiency in Power BI and other data visualization tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
