Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wastewater Process Engineer to join our team in Alexandria, VA. As a Wastewater Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing wastewater treatment processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and environmental regulations.
Responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement wastewater treatment processes and systems.Conduct feasibility studies and analyze data to optimize wastewater treatment processes.Perform process troubleshooting and provide solutions to operational challenges.Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and upgrades.Provide technical support and guidance to operations and maintenance teams.Conduct training sessions and workshops for staff on wastewater treatment processes and best practices.Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices in wastewater treatment technology.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Civil, or related field).5+ years of experience working in wastewater management/engineering.Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, technologies, and regulations.Experience with process design, optimization, and troubleshooting.Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
