Wastewater Process Engineer at Latitude

Job Descrption
Responsibilities
- Adapts to evolving regulatory requirements, maintaining compliance with permit mandates.
- Communicates process performance updates internally and coordinates with the Water Quality Manager on sampling plans.
- Proactively identifies and addresses process issues to prevent disruptions.
- Manages internal databases and oversees regulatory reporting.
- Monitors industry trends and recommends process enhancements.
- Optimizes plant processes through analysis and goal-setting.
- Manages instrumentation and contributes to equipment upgrade strategies.
- Supports staff development through mentoring and training initiatives.
- Contributes technical expertise to project planning and execution.
- Performs other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering field.
- Minimum five years of experience in water or wastewater treatment.
- Professional Engineer license preferred.
- Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes and regulations.
- Proficiency in data analysis and technical communication.
- Familiarity with industry software and tools.
