Job Descrption
The Senior Environmental Scientist will lead environmental assessments and projects, with a focus on stormwater engineering, sediment analysis, and research of environmental wetlands forests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, with expertise in these areas. This position features up to 15% travel to local sites in TX.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage environmental projects, including stormwater engineering, sediment analysis, and research of environmental wetlands forests
- Conduct fieldwork and collect environmental data, including water and soil samples
- Analyze data and prepare technical reports and presentations
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members
- Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders
- Stay current with environmental regulations and best practices
