Responsibilities:Assist loan officers and senior processors in preparing and reviewing loan applications and documentation.Collect and verify applicant information, including income, employment history, credit reports, and other financial documents.Input loan data into the company's loan origination system and ensure accuracy and completeness of information.Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, and underwriters to obtain additional documentation and resolve any discrepancies or issues.Assist in reviewing loan files for completeness and compliance with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.Coordinate with various internal departments and external parties to facilitate the loan closing process.Provide administrative support to the loan processing team, including organizing and maintaining loan files and records.Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to mortgage lending.Qualifications:College degree in finance, business, or related field.Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).Previous experience in customer service or administrative role preferred.Knowledge of mortgage lending processes and regulations is a plus but not required.Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
