Job Title: Child and Youth Justice Service Business Support Team Leader Grade 7 - Maternity Leave Cover
This post is a fixed term maternity cover position and the end date is dependant on the return of the substantive postholder
Lancashire Child and Youth Justice Service works with children aged 8-18 either involved with or at risk of entering the Youth Justice System. Our guiding principles as a service are:

CYJS are recruiting to a full-time temporary post to cover a maternity leave from mid July 2024 (exact date to be confirmed) until July 2025 or return of the substantive postholder, whichever is sooner.
This is a varied role where you will have line management responsibility for a team of business support staff. You will ensure the staff you manage feel valued, respected and promote health and well-being and training and development opportunities.
You will lead the business support staff to provide an effective, integrated Business Support function through resource management, to assist CYJS in delivering effective services.
You will work closely with operational staff and managers cross the service to ensure;
Every single day in your Business Support role you will "Make a Difference" to ensure that "children, young people, and their families are safe, healthy and achieve their full potential."
This post is predominantly based at Marsh Lane, Preston, PR1 8RR, however, the CYJS is a countywide service so there will be expectation to travel to meet service need. There are office bases located across the County. You will be required to provide a car for use in connection with the duties of this post and must be insured for business use. However, we may consider you if you cannot drive because of a disability.
