We're thrilled to announce a rare opening for the position of Responsible Individual / Senior Manager within Children's Residential Services for Lancashire County Council.
Lancashire County Council currently has a network of solo, dual, complex, and mainstream children's homes as well as short break units and adolescent support units. The role of the Responsible Individual / Senior Manager is diverse and varied and includes supervising the management and delivery of a cluster of these homes in the East of the County, ensuring regulatory requirements are not just met, but exceeded.
As the Responsible Individual, you will provide leadership, guidance, and support to a team of Registered Managers and be able to promote our strength based approach to practice and compassionate leadership.

Stability and Support: You will be joining a stable Senior Management team and be supported by a dedicated Head of Service. You will receive regular 1:1 supervision, mentoring and coaching, as well as peer support through our buddy system and access to the wider Council's full health and wellbeing package. As a Local Authority employee, you will also be supported by the wider Children's Services and have access to regular networking events with managers from other Services and Directorates and the opportunity to share learning and good practice between social work teams and the Children's Residential Service
